This last week felt like it zoomed by way too fast! (So fast in fact, it’s Monday again already – whatttt) Lucky I’ve got Pocket on my side to save my web-based faves on the run! Here’s what’s been added to my links list this week:
- On a trip down the YouTube rabbit hole from Safia’s superb Like a Version effort, I found this epic Mixup Exclusive by Alison Wonderland. It’s a 56-minute set but make sure you sneak at least a couple of peeks at the video clip: it’s a dude dancing the. whole. time. around Sydney CBD.
- Have you heard about the #dadbod? Well here’s the #mombod (Happy Mother’s Day ladies!)
- A photographer became a prison inspector in France. Here are his hauntingly insightful images.
- Gym class is often portrayed in American movies as this sadistic intense activity. The Presidential Fitness Test is probably why. Makes me think of the beep-test… Do you remember that one?
- I can’t remember how I came across this (maybe a remnant from my article on Frozen director Chris Buck!) but here are 19 times Tumblr made great points about Disney movies. Get ready to Oh. Em. Gee.
- Here’s a sweet but realistic article about creating a happy marriage:
When Megan and I have treats or snacks, whether it be cheese, crackers, cookies or ice cream, I will by default leave the last piece for her to enjoy. It has become part of who I am, and fortunately she is the same way.
I enjoy watching her have the last cookie far more than the cookie will taste If I eat it myself.
- Check out where my mate Yasmin is up to with her calligraphy for the #100daysproject.
I hope you’re primed & ready for the week ahead!
x Liz
